REAL Conflict Coaching: Systems, Stories and Solutions

Coming up with Professor Nadja Alexander in September 2016…

If you’ve ever felt that you are trying to navigate the messy waters of conflict with neither compass nor anchor, then this workshop is for you.

This advanced one-day workshop offers creative and practical tools for conflict coaches and mediators. It builds on the REAL Conflict Coaching fundamentals program and assumes basic conflict intervention knowledge and skills.

Systems Stories and Solutions develops the narrative thread of the REAL Conflict Coaching model and introduces systemic thinking tools into the coaching process. Throughout the day we will explore the power of storytelling as a vehicle for linking the intrinsic human motivation of our clients with the external social and organisational systems in which they live and work. Working with systems and stories helps clients shift gear and move towards sustainable solutions.

The workshop is highly interactive and participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own practice by trying out intervention and support tools for coaches from the REAL collection.

While Systems Stories and Solutions focuses on coaching settings, it offers skills applicable to conflict intervention generally.
